DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN HAUTE-SAVOIE
Transfer from the airport to Chamonix
Welcome at the airport (Geneva or other depending on the option chosen), then private transfer to Chamonix, at the heart of the Mont-Blanc massif. Check-in at the accommodation and first immersion in the alpine atmosphere. Free time to rest or stroll in the village center depending on the arrival time.
DAY 2 – CHAMONIX & AIGUILLE DU MIDI (France)
Discovery of Chamonix, emblematic alpine resort, with a walk in the city center: pedestrian streets, panorama on the surrounding summits, history of mountaineering.
Ascent by cable car to the Aiguille du Midi (3 842 m), one of the highest cable cars in Europe. From the terraces, spectacular view of Mont-Blanc, glaciers and the summits of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.
Free time at the summit before returning to the valley.
DAY 3 – ANNECY (France)
Departure for Annecy, nicknamed the Venice of the Alps. Visit of the old town with its canals, cobbled streets, arcades and colorful houses.
Walk along the Lake Annecy, renowned for the quality of its waters, with views of the surrounding mountains. Free time to enjoy the historic center, the terraces or the lake depending on the season.
DAY 4 – LYON (France)
Drive to Lyon, a city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Discovery of the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, offering a panorama of the entire city, then visit of the Old Lyon, one of the largest Renaissance complexes in Europe.
Exploration of the traboules, typical covered passages connecting the courtyards, witnesses of Lyon's history. Free time at the end of the day.
DAYS 5 & 6 – PUY DE DÔME & CLERMONT-FERRAND (France)
Direction Auvergne and the Chaîne des Puys.
Ascent of the Puy de Dôme (1 465 m) aboard the panoramic train, offering a clear view of the entire volcanic chain. Discovery of the summit and its volcanic landscapes.
Visit of a thematic park dedicated to volcanoes, to understand the geological history of the region.
In Clermont-Ferrand, discover the black lava stone Gothic cathedral, emblematic of the city. Overnight in the region.
DAY 7 – LE PUY-EN-VELAY (France)
Drive to Le Puy-en-Velay, a major pilgrimage site.
Visit the Notre-Dame du Puy Cathedral, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, famous for its architecture and spectacular location on a volcanic peak. Free time in the historic center.
DAY 8 – GENEVA (Switzerland)
Departure for Geneva. Discover the city: the old town, St. Peter's Cathedral, the shores of Lake Geneva, and the famous Jet d’Eau.
Free time for shopping, a lakeside stroll, or personal visits.
DAY 9 – DEPARTURE
Transfer to Geneva Airport according to your flight schedule. End of the stay.
